Core Logging and Mapping Geologist

Join Orix as a Core Logging and Mapping Geologist for field projects on a unique 16 days on, 12 days off rotation. Focus on geological exploration and core logging during your tenure.
This position requires a University Degree in Geological Sciences and a Geologist-in-Training designation. You will engage with various fieldwork tasks such as core logging, mapping, and supporting exploration programs. Ideal candidates will demonstrate superb communication skills and a commitment to health and safety in remote work environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support exploration programs through core logging and sampling
• Conduct ground truthing and field mapping activities
• Line up drill rigs and maintain professional conduct
• Work alongside and supervise student geologists and technicians
• Travel to remote work sites as required
