COORDINATOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION (PRE-K-12)
Responsibilities include:
+ Coordinator reports and accepts administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education
+ Coordinates the Special Education Programs/Services for both district-wide and out of district students
+ Implements curriculum and program planning in these programs.
+ Primary contact for out of district schools, charter schools and parentally placed students
+ Responsible for Special Education Archives
+ Provides professional development for special education teachers, related staff in collaboration with other district administrators
+ Supports MTSS and other student support initiatives and programs
