Vacancy Description

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds a Master’s degree in a relevant scientific (Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics), engineering, educational, science communication, or related field.
  • Has experience in scientific research and a strong affinity with education and outreach. PhD research experience is an asset, but not a requirement. 
  • Demonstrates a broad interest in astronomy, space science, and STEM education.
  • Has excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Is proactive, creative, and able to work independently while fostering collaborations.
  • Has strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Is fluent in Dutch (native or near-native proficiency) and has a good working-knowledge of English.
  • Has experience interacting with teachers, schools, educational organisations, or outreach audiences.
