COOLER / FRIDGE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in display chillers, fridges, freezers, coolers, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and increase equipment life span.
• Install new cooling equipment at retail or market locations.
• Conduct system tests and performance checks after repairs.
• Recharge refrigerants, replace compressors, thermostats, and other cooling components.
• Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls promptly.
• Coordinate with the spare parts team to ensure required materials are available.
• Report recurring issues to supervisors for long-term solutions.
