Primary Function
The primary function of a cook is to prepare food for employees at TMC Transportation’s cafeterias and assist in all aspects a food service operation.
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare food items by adhering to all recipe standards
Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling and food safety guidelines. This includes maintaining compliance with City, County, State, and Federal food safety regulations and codes
Provide excellent customer service
Perform daily tasks such as: line set up, food prep, cooking, clean-up, and cash handling
Supervise food service workers in the absence of the Food Service Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
Prior experience in a food service operation, possess knowledge on the proper use of food service equipment
Ability to multi-task and possess strong problem-solving skills
