The Lokal Kitchen Express family is seeking one (1) Cook to join our expanding team at our Blackfalds, Alberta location. Lokal Kitchen is a multiple family owned and operated full function restaurant with an extensive menu of signature Korean dishes and Canadian fusion food items. We are a one-of-a-kind Korean fusion restaurant especially known for our house battered Korean friend chicken – boasted as the best fried chicken in Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals from a restaurant menu
• Prepare and cook meals with variations depending on customer needs
• Oversee and manage kitchen operations
• Assist with planning menus and determining food requirements and cost
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Order supplies and equipment for kitchen as required
• Clean and maintain cooking surfaces and cooking tools
