Overview

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Controls Engineer to support the transition of its Mobility Group into a new company. The role focuses on improving automated control and safety devices, ensuring production equipment reliability, and maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities Develop and deploy electric control standards for maintenance and engineering departments. Manage PLC, HMI, laser, vision, safety controller, EOLT, and Technifor program storage and backups. Implement and validate error‑proofing measures to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Identify systematic control issues and collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineering for permanent corrective actions. Troubleshoot PLC, laser sensors, vision systems, LVDT’s, torque equipment, servos, encoders, laser markers, network/Ethernet controls, robot programming, and other automation problems.
