Controller

Our client is a manufacturing company based in the Burnaby/Coquitlam area of the Lower Mainland. They are looking for a Controller to oversee their finance accounting team and department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
• Manage all aspects of cost accounting.
• Ensure accurate inventory accounting.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate annual financial audits.
