Description We are looking for a Controller to join our team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi for a Contract position focused on restoring timely and accurate accounting operations. This role will take ownership of overdue reconciliations, support a disciplined close process, and deliver reliable financial reporting to help the business regain visibility into its books. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to organize and complete a significant backlog of work efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Lead efforts to bring bank and general ledger account reconciliations up to date and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and balances are properly reviewed.
