Interim Controller (Contract)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite Required)
A rapidly growing consumer products company is seeking a hands-on Interim Controller to support the finance organization during a period of organizational transition. This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to solve complex accounting challenges.
The successful consultant will partner closely with finance leadership to stabilize accounting operations, clean up the books, strengthen accounting processes, and support the accounting team while a permanent Controller search is underway.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and support month-end close activities.
+ Perform and review complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Drive accounting cleanup initiatives, including historical account reconciliations and process improvements.
