Controlled Substance Clerk, Receiving

Position Summary: Under direct supervision and working within a cage or secured area, a Controlled Substance Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of tasks that facilitate the physical movement of shipments into or out of the facility on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer. The Clerk position requires high attention to detail and ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Work on the receiving dock for the facility

• Unload trucks by hand and with a manual pallet jack

• Scan the inbound boxes or packages into the system using RF equipment or a computer terminal

• Follow instructions for handling any discrepancies noted
