Controls & Automation Engineer


GEE Group is seeking a hands-on engineer to design, program, and commission custom automated machinery. Requires 2+ years of experience with PLC/HMI programming, motion control, and electrical troubleshooting to deliver robust production-ready systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Control Programming:Program and refine complex PLC routines in Studio 5000 using standard Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagrams.

  • HMI/SCADA Development:Architect and implement intuitive operator interfaces and monitoring systems via FactoryTalk View SE/ME.

  • ISA-88 Batch Management:Build FactoryTalk Batch systems following ISA-88 standards, including the creation of area models, phases, and recipes.

  • DCS Diagnostics & Resolution:Analyze and troubleshoot Distributed Control System (DCS) malfunctions to identify core issues and apply permanent fixes.
