CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Contract Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will prepare contracts and advise IWSTs on Statements of Work or Statements of Objectives for highly complicated supplies. You will direct and perform post-award negotiations involving contract changes or modifications, change proposals, special agreements and pricing arrangements. You will conduct post award conferences to set forth the plan to monitor contractor performance in accordance with the technical and administrative aspects of the contract. You will analyze past performance on current and previous orders and evaluate contractor responsibility standards, tooling, engineering authority and verify contractors cost estimating and accounting systems. You will participate in the development of business case analysis costing models to determine the feasibility of applying alternate support solutions.
