The Consultant IV position on the Medi-Cal Benefit Policy team will be responsible for the following:
+ Working through benefit policy issues from a Medicaid Line of Business (LOB) perspective.
+ Reviewing and updating the Coverage Policy Manual (CPM) in collaboration with the National Benefits Administration (NBA) team. The CPM is an internal resource used by the LOB itself, Member Services, and other stakeholders to answer questions about what Medi-Cal covers or does not. The CPM serves as the source of truth for Medi-Cal benefits.
+ Reviewing and updating the Benefits and Services chapter of the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) in collaboration with the Medi-Cal Contract Management team. The EOC is a regulatorily-required, member-facing document.
