Consultant in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

Job summary
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are delighted to seek the appointment of a Consultant in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery to support our centralised service providing high quality, modern vascular care for the people of Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool, Wigan and surrounding areas. The model of care is based on a hub and spoke arrangement as recommended by the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. All in-patient, arterial and emergency surgical procedures are treated in the Vascular Intervention Centre (Royal Preston Hospital), with day-case lists and out-patient clinics continuing in our three non centre NHS trusts (Wigan, Blackpool and Morecambe Bay). The network has a total of eleven Vascular Consultants, working across the four trusts, participating in a Vascular Surgeon of the Week and a separate vascular on call and weekend rota.
