Consultant in Gen Paeds - Neonatal Transition and Surgical Support

Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Consultant in General Paediatrics with a focus on neonatal transition and paediatric surgical support at Nottingham Children's Hospital, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and supportive General Paediatric service, working across neonatal, surgical and general paediatric pathways to improve care for children and young people who require joined up medical oversight.

The post will strengthen consultant capacity for paediatric surgical ward support, neonatal transition ward rounds and multidisciplinary team working, alongside contribution to General Paediatric service weeks, outpatient activity, Advice and Guidance, and the consultant on-call rota.

The successful candidate will work closely with paediatric surgery, neonates, anaesthetics, nursing, therapy teams, specialty colleagues, primary care and community partners to support safe, timely and coordinated care.<...
