Consultant in Cardiology

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Cardiology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Cardiology department.

Our client currently provides acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people within the area. We provide 759 beds and a comprehensive range of acute services including medicine and surgery, services for women and children, accident and emergency services, and diagnostic and clinical support services. The CQC recently rated the care we provide as outstanding. Our client provides cardiology services to a local population of approximately 550,000. The new purpose built Cardiac Centre opened in 2000 with two dedicated cardiac catheterisation laboratories for interventional work.
