Consultant General Surgeon – University Hospital Monklands

We are seeking a Consultant General Surgeon to be based at University Hospital Monklands within NHS Lanarkshire for a full‑time 10 PA post.

Responsibilities include working closely with the existing staff to accommodate general surgical service needs and participating in the emergency on‑call general surgical rota on a 1‑in‑9 basis.

Any general surgical specialty interest will be considered, and candidates must hold full GMC registration with a licence to practice.

Applicants interested in additional SPA time should demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement, patient safety (including human factors training), medical education, research & development, or appraisal activities.
