Consultant Anaesthetist

We are looking to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist to complement a department of over 40 people in a busy District General Hospital. On-call commitments will cover ICU. The ICU at Victoria Hospital has 10 beds, with approximately 400 level 3 patients admitted annually.

Scope of Care

• Anaesthesia and critical care for a wide range of specialty surgery including robotics, general surgery, breast, ENT, maxillofacial, obstetrics, gynaecology (general and oncology), trauma and orthopaedics, ophthalmology and paediatrics.
• Day surgery performed at a stand‑alone unit in Dunfermline.
• Support to an on‑site National Treatment Centre for elective orthopaedic work.

Responsibilities
