Construction Estimator

American Home & Hardware is seeking a detail-oriented Blueprint Estimator, Contractor Sales & Purchasing Specialist to support our growing lumber and building materials department.

This position combines blueprint estimating, material takeoffs, contractor sales, purchasing, vendor management, and project coordination. The ideal candidate understands residential construction, can read blueprints, prepare accurate material lists, communicate effectively with contractors, and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review residential and light commercial blueprints and construction plans

• Prepare accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates

• Generate customer quotes and proposals

• Create framing packages, deck packages, and material lists

• Perform deck takeoffs using estimating software

• Prepare Andersen and Harvey window quotations
