**Description**
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is looking for a COMSEC Custodian to provide ongoing support for DHS Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services & Support (HEITS) to ensure the continued operations, maintenance, and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN).
As a COMSEC Custodian on the HEITS program, your duties will include:
+ Adhering to and ensuring user compliance with the customer’s COMSEC policies and procedures.
+ Configuring and installing crypto hardware, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and providing quick resolutions to minimize user downtime.
+ Maintaining the health and functionality of crypto devices in operation, minimizing downtime during maintenance periods.
+ Protecting and maintaining keying and other COMSEC materials, updating keying material according to customer-designated timeframes.
