Job Description

Assist pharmacists by performing technical functions and supporting professional functions to provide pharmaceutical services to patients, staff, and physicians. This role operates under the supervision of the Pharmacist-on-duty.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parenteral products, such as IV, IVPB’s, and TPN solutions, in compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and USP 797, USP 800, and USP 795 regulations.

• Process printed medication orders and stock medication requests as needed, including ambulance and code cart trays.

• Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries at the customer service window.

• Replace returned medication to appropriate storage areas.

• Monitor par levels, reorder, and restock controlled substances as required.
