Location: Calgary Head Office, Alberta preferred; other AER Alberta office locations considered.

Employment Type: Full‑Time – Limited Term (24 months).

Salary: T3 Level 5, $102,000‑$120,000 per year, adjusted for factors. May receive Northern Living allowance.

The Opportunity

Compliance Auditor – Closure Nomination. The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is recruiting for a Compliance Auditor to join the Compliance Verification team. You will conduct audits of industry‑reported closure activities, verify compliance, and support enforcement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and independently conduct complex audits of operations within AER's jurisdiction.
