The Otipemisiwak Métis Government is looking for a full-time Community Wellness Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager of Community Wellness, the Community Wellness Coordinator will collaboratively facilitate the envisioning, implementation, and evaluation of Shakiwayniwayhk (Embrace): Substance Use Recovery Program. The Substance Use Recovery Program is an expansion of the Opioid Recovery Wrap-Around Support Program. Grounded in Métis culture, history, and person‑centred, trauma‑informed care, the Community Wellness Coordinator is a crucial touchpoint in supporting and advancing the wellbeing of Métis Albertans on their recovery journey.
