**Overview**
The New York Public Library (NYPL) is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to fill the role of Community Outreach Impact Associate. The Community Outreach Impact Associate must be prepared to travel across the city (including Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island) to build awareness of the NYPL’s programs and services. This is a hands-on, active role that requires in-person communication and engagement at a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments including city shelters and other housing facilities, community events, festivals and street fairs, and in public spaces such as parks, community gardens, and markets.
