Overview

Setting the path of wellness in our communities for the early years, for generations to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide non‑clinical support to parents and caregivers of new babies, helping them manage challenges and decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with Plunket Nurses, Kaiāwhina and other services to deliver wrap‑around support.
  • Organise and conduct clinics or community events on Saturdays as required.
  • Communicate clearly, empathetically and reassuringly with whānau.
  • Work independently while collaborating within a team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong communication, empathy and reassurance skills.
  • Passion for working with tamariki and their caregivers.
  • Understanding and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and its application in front‑line roles.
  • Hold a clean driver’s licence.
