Commodity Analyst (Packaging)

Job Summary

The Packaging Commodity Analyst provides the operational backbone for ABG’s enterprise packaging function — owning the day-to-day execution of price list maintenance, stocking program reviews, ERP system updates, and supplier data administration across ABG’s three ERP environments. This role directly addresses the capacity constraint that currently prevents the commodity manager from focusing on strategic supplier negotiations and cost-out projects.

Beyond transactional execution, the Packaging Commodity Analyst is expected to build and maintain the data infrastructure that enables enterprise-level packaging decisions — including RISI index tracking, savings pipeline reporting, vendor spend analytics, and label administration. This role requires operational discipline, systems proficiency, and the ability to work across business units in a fast-paced, multi-brand manufacturing environment.
