Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes under the guidance of senior chefs ensuring that all meals meet the restaurant s standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen including adhering to food safety regulations and proper storage methods for ingredients.
- Support the senior chefs by preparing ingredients including washing, chopping and marinating to streamline the cooking process.
- Monitor stock levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages or issues to ensure the smooth operation of meal service.
Qualifications
- Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution, demonstrating formal training in cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, showcasing the ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
