Commercial Roofing Service Technician/Helper

Summary of Position Under the general direction of Service Foremen, Service Technicians/Helpers assist in the repair of deficiencies in all types of low-slope and steep-slope commercial roof systems.

General Responsibilities and Duties Maintain and repair all types of roofing materials and protective coatings, such as but not limited to single ply membranes (EPDM, TPO, PVC), wood, shingles, standing seam metal, hot and cold applied built up systems.

Assist in locating leaks in roof systems; Identify deficiencies in roof systems that may cause future damage and notify Service Foreman; Assist Service Foreman in ensuring all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are on the truck at the beginning of each work day; Communicate effectively with Service Foreman, Service Manager, and customers.
