Commercial Construction Estimator

ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are seeking a mid-level skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team.

As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for determining the total cost of construction projects ranging from $500K to $5M

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the COMMERCIAL construction process, excellent mathematical skills.

MUST be a NY resident, preferably living within 45 miles of the Garden City office

MUST have 3-7 years of COMMERCIAL estimating experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review RFP - including plans, specifications, sketches, design narratives, Addenda, etc.
Attending pre-bid meetings, verify existing conditions, analyze factors that may affect constructability.
Preparing bidders lists - custom tailored for each project, carefully selecting those subcontractors that are most appropriate for each project (and most likely to bid).
