Combat Vehicles Senior Commodity Buyer

**Job Description**

Plans and procures materials and services to meet all contractual specifications. Performs pre- and post- award procurement administration of activities. Ensures best value is obtained including 100% quality and delivery.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Perform sourcing, reviewing, and purchasing commodities from vendors
+ Support and develop sourcing strategies, and evaluate market conditions
+ Works to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain
+ Analyze manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, and other material requirements based on needs of assembly demands, replenishments, substitute parts/materials, production set-ups, engineering changes and enterprise supplies
+ Supports resolutions of schedule, material requirements, or business system problems with cross-functional representatives
