Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for a Collections Specialist to support a busy accounts receivable environment in Irmo, South Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is confident managing a high volume of collection activity, communicating professionally with customers, and helping reduce outstanding balances. The role focuses on maintaining consistent follow-up, resolving payment issues, and contributing to healthy cash flow through strong collection practices.

Responsibilities:
• Contact commercial and consumer customers by phone and email to follow up on overdue invoices and secure timely payment commitments.
• Manage a large portfolio of outstanding accounts receivable while prioritizing collection efforts based on aging, balance size, and risk.
