Description
Successful candidate will provide programs for all C.N.C. equipment within PSI Bearings to ensure that jobs are manufactured as planned. This position is located in Simi Valley, CA.
Key Accountabilities
Reduce scrap and non-conformances through training and improved process controlImprove sales OTD through training, set-up reduction, and process improvementsWorks within the M.E. Department and provides programs for C.N.C. equipment. Reviews planning and blue prints for operation requirements and writes programs to complete each operation utilizing MasterCam. Will use knowledge of machines, technique and tooling to provide the most efficient manner of manufacture. Work as a team player with the other members of the department.Standardize tooling and programs as much as possible to facilitate pre-set tooling. Optimize programs to improve cycle times thru continuous improvement efforts.
