CNC OPERATOR WITH SET UP AND TROUBLESHOOTINGSHIFTS: 1ST AND 2ND SHIFTWAGE: $22-$26/HOURLOCATION: JANESVILLE WI AREAPosition OverviewAs a CNC Operator you will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (often lathes) to produce metal parts to specification. You’ll be working within a precision manufacturing environment where accuracy, quality, and safety are key. Key Responsibilities

Read setup sheets, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine required dimensions and machining sequence. 

Set up CNC machines: load fixtures/work-pieces, install cutting tools, secure parts, adjust machine settings (speeds, feeds, offsets). 

Operate the machine during production, monitor cycles, and detect issues such as tool wear or part inconsistencies. 

Perform in-process inspection: measure workpieces with calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify conformance to specs. 

Maintain machine/work area: keep it clean, follow 5S and safety protocols, ...
