CNC Operator

+ Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions

+ With assistance, troubleshoots, edits, and optimizes new production programs to ensure efficient overall production

+ Calculates and sets machine controls to specific work orders and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow

+ Document new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimized

+ Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers

+ Deburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications

+ Follow all safety policies and procedures

+ Setup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shop
