CNC Mill Setup Machinist

Position Summary Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a Delva Tool & Machine company (DTM), is seeking a  CNC Mill Setup Machinist  for our  Paullina, IA   location .  * The pay range for this role is between $28.30 - $30.12/hr. depending on experience.   Our machine shop is 100% climate controlled* Essential Duties and Responsibilities Programs and sets up CNC mill machines using programs generated by engineering department.

Inspects parts per print and in process documentation.

Prepares programs and all tools needed for machining operations.

Installs jaws, tooling, programs, enters offsets, and proves out machine.

Inspects first run piece and makes offsets as required, spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications (including documentation of results).

Ensure proper hand-offs are done at shift change and when handing off a new set-up to an operator.
