**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist**
**Job Description**
The CNC Mill Machinist sets up, operates, and adjusts CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exact specifications. This role interprets blueprints, programs and edits machine controls, performs detailed measurements, and ensures all parts meet tight tolerance requirements in an aerospace machine shop environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Study blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements for finished workpieces.
+ Calculate and set machine controls to regulate machining factors such as coolant flow, depth of cut, feed rate, and spindle speed.
+ Enter commands to retrieve, input, and edit computerized machine control parameters for CNC milling operations.
+ Set up CNC milling machines by machining and mounting fixturing for all production runs and establishing proper machine positioning for part production.
