**Job Title: CNC Machinist Weekend 1st**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes in our HMPT department, which specializes in producing parts for a defense company. The role involves setting up jobs on assigned machines, performing inspections using various measuring equipment, and diagnosing equipment or tool issues. Training will initially be on the 1st shift for 30-90 days, before moving to C shift, which operates 12 hours from 6a-6p with a shift premium.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes to produce correct parts according to customer process documentation.
+ Set up jobs on assigned machines including tool changes.
+ Perform 1st piece, in-process, and last piece inspections using micrometers, calipers, comparators, gauges, and CMM equipment.
+ Conduct data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.
