**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description**
The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting various types of conventional and automatic machines, including CNC machines, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other precision equipment. This role may also involve assisting Manufacturing Team Members in the setup of machines.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform a wide variety of setups and operations on CNC machines.
+ Write and edit programs to meet overall requirements.
+ Operate machines with 2-5 axes, including Horizontals, Verticals, lathes, and Integrex.
+ Read drawings and prints to create parts.
+ Handle multiple machine changeovers per shift in custom machining.
+ Use micrometers and calipers to check the quality of parts.
+ Handle changeovers independently and understand CNC machine logic.
+ Write basic programs, post-edit CNC programs, and troubleshoot errors.
+ Set up jobs, run jobs, and inspect parts.
