CNC Machinist - Early Career - Orlando

**Description:**
You will be an Early Career CNC Machinist for the Engineering & Prototype Laboratory (EPL) team working alongside and learning from highly experienced Machinists. Our team is responsible for delivering precision engineering and prototype fabrication support to the Research & Development (R&D) groups within Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for turning detailed drawings and 3‑D models into high‑quality prototype hardware in a “Build to Print” environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Planning, tooling, work‑holding, and fabricating fixtures for complex parts.
+ Generating NC code using CAD/CAM software and verifying program accuracy.
+ Operating 3‑axis CNC machines to produce precision components.
+ Measuring and inspecting machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
