Skills required:

Proficiency in operating 5 Axis Machining Centers — required

Strong programming skills — required

Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings

Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers

Capable of machining precision parts from start to finish

Responsibilities: Set up, program, and operate 5-Axis Machining Centers Review part specification and requirements.

Setup work piece, create machining center sequence and tool selection. Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications.

Inspect and validate your own work using precision measuring equipment Complete short-run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool adjustments Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
