CNC Lathe Cell Team Leader

Responsible to: Production Manager The CNC Lathe Cell Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the CNC turning cell, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role combines hands-on machining expertise with leadership, coordination and continuous improvement responsibilities. The post holder will be responsible for the following duties: Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for all engineering functions required to allow the efficient manufacture of component parts on CNC Lathe machines Train, mentor and upskill team members to build capability and flexibility Adhere to company policies and quality standards, including AS9100 Perform and oversee machine setups and first-off approval Optimise machining processes for tolerance, surface finish, and cycle time Diagnose faults and analyse programs and methods to maximise machine efficiency and/or reduce risk of non-conformance Ensure compliance with enginee...
