Key Responsibilities
- Have an understanding of internal customers activity and constraints that could be impacted by suppliers performance.
- Manage the day‑to‑day and clerical activity related to his/her categories.
- Work closely with the Global Category Manager and support him/her in building and implementing the sourcing strategy.
- Understand the projects the New Products and Innovation Team are working on and integrate them into the strategy.
- Lead the negotiations with suppliers.
- Maintain and track spends for the covered categories.
- Build and propose a budget/savings target that supports Galderma’s financial objectives, analyze purchase price variances, and provide an accurate forecast to management.
- Implement a three‑year visibility and cost‑improvement program to find initiatives, such as promoting and supporting a multi‑sourcing approach based on risk assessment and market analysis.
