Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for AWS cloud expenditures
- Lead cost evaluation for AWS resource requests including compute, storage, and networking
- Leverage AWS-native and third-party FinOps tools to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Analyze resource utilization to recommend rightsizing, Savings Plans, and Reserved Instances
- Provide cloud cost insights and financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain cloud cost allocation models, tagging standards, and chargeback processes
- Collaborate with AWS representatives to maximize cost savings
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain Department of Education Public Trust clearance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud financial management or FinOps
