Clinical Research Technologist II

The Clinical Research Technologist II serves as a bench technologist for the laboratories in the research department performing CAP and/or CLIA licensed clinical diagnostic tests and other regulatory accredited activities such as biorepositories. Bench duties include acquiring and logging in samples, performing, interpreting and resulting assays. The Clinical Research Technologist II understands and possesses the knowledge and skillset to perform the higher-level testing and analysis required for clinical diagnostic testing and other regulatory accredited activities. In addition, this position will participate in research involving the development and validation of new clinical assays or services. Must have proficiency with genomics-based applications including next generation sequencing.
