Summary


In accordance with established standards, provides basic nursing care and assists in more complex care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Completion of at least one of the following: Current enrollment or completion of a professional or practical nursing program or other health-related educational program focused on the delivery of direct patient care with at least three months of experience in an educational clinical setting delivering direct patient care. Completion of a Pennsylvania state approved Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician educational training program.
