Clinical Nurse Specialist – Perioperative

An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Specialistto assist in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with the Theatre Team at a private hospital in Western Sydney. ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is graded as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and will be responsible for providing supervision, direction and guidance to ensure safe practice, quality care and leadership. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of an excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centred care;

Collaborating with the perioperative management team to provide strategic leadership, supervision, and oversight as required;

Demonstrating professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, the code of ethics and conduct, and legislative requirements;
