Clinical Nurse Specialist, Hawera Hospital : Permanent Part time 0.8 FTE
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) provides advanced clinical nursing expertise within the Rural Emergency Department, delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient‑centred care. The CNS supports the assessment, management and coordination of patients with complex and acute healthcare needs while promoting excellence in clinical practice, education, quality improvement and leadership.
Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, the CNS contributes to improving patient outcomes, enhancing staff capability and ensuring safe, timely access to emergency care for the rural community.
