Clinical Counsellor location: th St., Unit 200, North Battleford, Saskatchewan, S9A 0V7, Canada.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assessment, treatment, crisis intervention and counselling services.
• Individual, group and family counselling.
• Provide referrals and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Develop and implement training programs/workshops for clients and staff if required.
• Prepare and maintain confidential records, reports and files.
• Guide clients with skills and strategies to build self-esteem and confidence.
• Improve the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing of communities and members, while strengthening the traditional health care system.
• Aim to improve the health of First Nations by incorporating First Nations healing and wellness.
• Knowledge of traditional human development and family dynamics.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity of the Cree culture.
