SUMMARY
This position is responsible for answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments for providers in the Rural Health Clinics. The Clinic Scheduler will also assist staff and providers in their daily functions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to be successful.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)
+ Answer and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls for the Rural Health Clinics to the appropriate personnel or department.
+ Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments for providers following scheduling guidelines.
